The Abbey Villas Pools project in Fontana, Wisconsin involved the phased new construction of two community pools and accompanying pavilions within the Abbey Villas residential community. Located in the Lake Geneva area, this project reflects our expertise in amenity construction, phased scheduling, and complex site coordination in occupied residential environments.
To minimize disruption to residents, the project was carefully executed in two phases. The first pool was constructed and completed in time for summer use, while the existing second pool remained operational throughout the season. During the off-season, construction began on the second new pool, ensuring both facilities were fully operational by the following summer. This strategic phasing allowed the community to maintain uninterrupted access to recreational amenities while improvements were underway.
One of the primary challenges involved soil conditions beneath the underground pool structures. Our team implemented additional engineering measures and stabilization techniques to address subgrade concerns and ensure long-term structural integrity. Through careful planning and execution, we delivered durable, high-performance pool systems designed to withstand Wisconsin’s seasonal climate conditions.
Each new pool is complemented by thoughtfully designed pavilion structures that enhance functionality and provide shaded gathering spaces for residents.
