OVERVIEW
The Union Grove–Yorkville Fire Station in Union Grove, Wisconsin is a modern, ADA-compliant public safety facility currently under construction. Designed to meet the operational demands of today’s fire service while honoring the department’s history, this project reflects our expertise in Wisconsin municipal and fire station construction.
The new facility includes six apparatus bays, seven sleeping quarters, and in-floor heating throughout the bays, living quarters, and select administrative spaces to ensure durability and year-round comfort in Wisconsin’s climate. Thoughtfully planned living areas feature custom kitchen cabinetry, built-in lockers with dual access from both the locker room and sleeping quarters, a dedicated exercise room, and specialized support spaces. These include a gear laundry equipped with heavy-duty equipment and reinforced concrete construction, as well as decontamination showers designed to enhance firefighter safety and health.
A full masonry training tower with steel stairs, landings, and tie-off points is being constructed to support on-site training and emergency preparedness. This feature strengthens the department’s ability to train safely and efficiently within their own facility.
Historical elements are seamlessly integrated into the design, including the display of an antique fire engine in the lobby and an antique fire hose cart suspended from the vestibule ceiling. These features create a meaningful connection between the department’s legacy and its future.
As an experienced Wisconsin municipal contractor, our team is coordinating closely with stakeholders to deliver a high-performance fire station that will serve the Union Grove and Yorkville communities for decades to come.
